Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and professor at St. Thomas University). Anna Silk's father was British, and her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching work at play rehearsals. Her appearances in commercials were numerous as a young child. Anna relocated to Toronto Ontario in order in order to pursue acting. Over the years which followed, she relocated to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009.
