Emily Bett Rickards, born on July 24, 1991 in Canada is an Canadian actor best known for playing Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards born and raised on the coast of British Columbia, is Canadian. Her career began at a young age, she was introduced to dance and theatre with the hope of later introducing herself to more serious acting. After graduating early from high-school, she attended Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials course. Following the completion of the course and attending an open call audition and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Originally signed as a one-episode guest star, her chemistry with the show's main character Stephen Amell coupled with positive response from the fans and her funny quips earned her first signing to be a regular co-star for the rest of the first season.
