Jillian Shennessy (born November 25 in 1968) is a Canadian actress, singer who made an impact in American television. The most famous of her works are her amazing appearances in the American television programs like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy's acting skills were also displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as well as Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she flexed both co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy began her acting career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. She received an award for her performance in the series a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress as well as An Emmy Award. Parker was awarded the 2001 Tony Award as Best Actress at the Broadway production Proof.
